“The more artificial
the world becomes, the more human we must be.”
AI is transforming everything.
But the real question isn’t just what AI can do—it’s what it should do, and who it should serve?
AI / Design for Good
This is a movement to keep humanity at the center of innovation. We believe technology should amplify dignity, equity, creativity, and meaning—not just efficiency or scale.
How can we use AI not just to make things faster, but to make life more meaningful?
How do we make way for what truly matters in an AI-driven world?
How do we stay grounded in purpose as technology reshapes what’s possible?
Alice Au Quan
Founder
AI Design for Good
Alice Au Quan is a design executive, futurist, and creative leader who has spent her career at the intersection of technology, creativity, and meaning. She believes the future of AI should not just be engineered—it must be designed with humanity at its center.
Over the past two decades, Alice has helped build transformative experiences at global companies like Google, Ripple, and Walmart. Today, she leads design to empower and scale non-profits globally at GoFundMe, championing tools that uplift human stories and real-world impact.
In 2025, Alice launched AI Design for Good as a philanthropic movement and global call to action—bringing together change makers, designers, and technologists to co-create a future where technology serves humanity, not just progress.
Blending her background in product innovation, leadership, and human-centered design, Alice focuses on design innovation that honors dignity, agency, and meaning in an increasingly digital world.
When she's not designing or writing, Alice finds meaning through art, fashion, singing, hiking and spending time exploring the world with her husband and two teenagers, who remind her every day what it means to stay human. Learn more about Alice here.
